13 Assassins. I love this movie. Maritus and I watched it again last night. As with any movie, the details are off in the fight scene (which is 50 minutes long!), but it would not be nearly as exciting or entertaining if it was accurate.
** Ladies, heads up. This movie is bloody and violent.

If you like this movie you’ll probably also like The Seven Samurai. Its from 1954 and in B/W, Japanese with English Subs, but its a fantastic movie. The Magnificent Seven is an adaptation of this original film.

I haven’t seen The Seven Samurai but it is in my Netflix Queue. I have seen The Magnificent Seven though and it was fantastic.

Anything by Akira Kurosawa is gauranteed manly and red pilled.
Kurosawa… my fave of his is “Ran”. Shakespeare’s King Lear redone in 16th century Japan. The cinematography is incredible. The movie is long as heck, subtitled, too slow moving for most people. But compelling if you have the patience to sit through it.
Other Kurosawa flicks I like are Seven Samurai (of course!) and Rashomon.
You might want to watch “Johimbo” and “The Seven Samurai.” “The Magnificent Seven” was the American remake of “The Seven Samurai.”
